Sheryl has a love for all the family members, including your furry firstborns. When you have Sheryl as your doula, you can be sure that no one will be left out of getting attention and care. She can create some comfort food for the postpartum parents, when a little chicken soup and quesadillas can go a long way. She also loves to bake pumpkin bread and apple cinnamon muffins, as she knows the power of waking up to something baking to create peace and comfort.
When she isn’t caring for tiny ones or resting between doula shifts, Sheryl visits with her grown son, enjoys swimming every day she can, and loves to attend local Hops baseball games. She also loves to visit past families she has served in Portland, and loves to read about social justice and mental health.
Here is a review of Sheryl’s nurturing care:
Sheryl has been an amazing postpartum doula for our family as we navigate parenthood for the first time. She always provides the best care for our newborn daughter, and goes above and beyond in making sure she is happy, safe and that all her needs are met. Sheryl is caring, thoughtful, professional and knowledgeable, and has helped us tremendously through these first few months. We always know that our daughter is in the best hands when Sheryl comes to take care of her. Whether it's helping with household tasks, taking care of our daughter or answering our questions about newborn care- we can always count on her.
