Find Your Birth Recovery Support

Birth is meant to be transformative. What we do not plan for is the massive recovery period after birth (we call it postpartum, but that just usually means depression to the majority, even though it is something that everyone goes through after having a baby).

When birth is over we often feel amazing, accomplished, and the proudest of ourselves and our babies.

And we also feel sore, tender, fragile, and new. Sometimes overwhelmingly. and sometimes in places we didn't expect or feel comfortable discussing with others.

This is where birth recovery support comes in. If you are able to have help after baby arrives, you can rest your body. You can care for yourself as you get to know your baby. You can become the strong and adaptable parent you have been expecting to be.

Reserve a doula before they are all booked up. Or have your partner get extra time off work and have them read THE FIRST 40 DAYS. Or expand your bubble to include a grandparent that can care for you for a few weeks while you become something totally new...a parent.
